Having worked in San Francisco and in rural communities of Lake and Mendocino Counties, Cyril leads technical workshops and assists water systems throughout California on the topics of water quality, operations, staffing, and regulations. The Mendocino Redwood forest is his home.

Eileen Buell is a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Social justice and political action were ingrained in Eileen at an early age as her parents were always trying to make this country a better place for everyone. In 1997 she moved to Anchor Bay from Arcata, CA with her husband Tracy.

Greg Gilreath is a film producer, lawyer, and forest enthusiast who was born and raised in Los Angeles. Ready to live a life more focused on sustainability, he moved with his wife Romy to a redwood covered mountain top in Annapolis in 2022.
Zack Hayward
Zach Hayward is a 32 year old raised in Gualala and Sea Ranch. He graduated from Point Arena High School and is employed as a Fiber Optic Technician. Politically engaged since the age of 14 he believes in the power of community organization, social equity, climate health and the need for all people to help support each other.
Kenny Jowers
Acting as advisor to WE ARE DEMOCRACY, Kenny has been a political and social activist and organizer in California for the past 20 years. He presently owns Physical Gym in Gualala and lives with his husband Robert Larsen on their farm in Manchester, where they have held many events over the years for political candidates and in support of democracy.

Denise Verolini is a clinical psychologist, leadership coach and lifelong Democrat. In 2018 she moved from the Bay Area to Sea Ranch with her husband Michael, a physical therapist, volunteer firefighter/ EMT, and their 2 dogs Nico and Baci
